GINGER LIMEADE

  • 1/4 cup grated fresh ginger

  • 1/4 cup grated fresh turmeric

  • Juice from 4 limes

  • 4 cups water

  • 1/4 cup honey

    Instructions

    Bring water to a slight boil, steep ginger and turmeric 5-7 minutes. Strain, add honey and lime juice. Cool in fridge before drinking and serve over ice or at room temp. It’s more beneficial served closer to room temp. Add more water if the taste is too strong for you.

    Note: I have also added a couple T of apple cider vinegar to a glass of ginger limeade. It gives an extra twang and has added health benefits.
